POI files for TomTom satnav systems

Installation instructions for TomTom devices connected to Windows XP/Vista PC systems

Download the two ELR TomTom POI files (East_Lancashire_Railway.ov2 and East_Lancashire_Railway.bmp) and save them to a location on your computer.

Attach your TomTom unit/TomTom Memory Card to your PC (consult your TomTom documentation for instructions on how to do this) and open up My Computer (located in the Windows Start Menu).
Navigate to the Great Britain Map directory and copy the East_Lancashire_Railway.ov2 and East_Lancashire_Railway.bmp files to this directory.
Now, using your TomTom, go to Change Preferences --> Manage POI and tick East Lancashire Railway
Then, to to navigate to the ELR station of your choice: On your TomTom, select: Navigate to... --> Point of Interest --> East Lancashire Railway.
