On 27 & 28 March 2010 ANY RESIDENT living in the Metropolitan Boroughs of Rochdale, Bury or Rossendale can travel at our special Residents Permit fares of £4.00 for Adults and £2.70 for Children and Concessions, for one full line return journey on the ELR (A full-line Adult Return ticket for non-Resident Permit holders costs £12.20, offering a saving of £8.20 for each adult travelling). Any residents wishing to take advantage of this very special offer must provide proof of residency in the form of a UK Driving License or recent Utility Bill. Come and discover the beauty on your doorstep.

Holders of ELR Residents Permits travel at these fares throughout the year and application forms are available at all East Lancashire Railway staffed stations. An annual fee of £5.50 is charged for each Residents Permit. Click here for further information.
