ARE PROPOSING A RAILTOUR
ON SATURDAY 15th & SUNDAY 16th MAY 2010
TO
FALMOUTH, PENZANCE, St IVES & NEWQUAY

PROPOSED ITINERARY

Saturday May 15th

  • 40145 from the North West via Birmingham, Oxford, Swindon to Westbury
  • D1015 + 40145 in TANDEM Westbury-Plymouth
  • 40145 Top n Tail D1015 Plymouth-Penzance (Break) Penzance-Truro-Falmouth-Truro-Penzance

Sunday May 16th

  • 40145 Top n Tail D1015 Penzance-St Ives-Penzance (Break) Penzance-Par-Newquay-Plymouth
  • D1015 + 40145 in TANDEM Plymouth-either Bristol, Westbury or Oxford for 40145 solo forward

The aim is to arrive in Penzance on Saturday afternoon and allow a reasonable break before the trip out to Falmouth. Those not wanting to do Falmouth on the Saturday evening and St Ives on the Sunday morning can choose to have extended time in Penzance.

This is an extremely ambitious but very interesting tour and we need to gauge the level of interest before committing to the tour as cancelation would involve loss of revenue which would otherwise be spent on the upkeep of our locomotives. Tickets prices will start in the region of £120 in standard.

If you would intend booking on this tour then it would be appreciated if an expression of interest is emailed to either
